This is a blog about restaurants and food. My friend Denise Gilardone and I called ourselves the Evil Food Twins when we worked together at a technology start-up some years ago. We were renowned for our restaurant research and dinner planning in advance of the many trade shows and conferences we attended all over the country. We both cook frequently and are avid foodies, long before that was a mainstream word. Our inspiration/idols are the likes of Julia Child, Craig Claiborne and Jacques Pepin — people who actually cooked and are/were knowledgeable about food, rather than the many tv chefs that defrost things from their freezer and then talk about it.
